— FlyingART:
intuition and connection
We discover, collect, and share art in the flow of life—often finding gems in unexpected places. Turning everyday moments into opportunities for beauty and exchange.
- Current artist in collection
Denise Chetboune: "A good sculpture stirs your insides to better tickle the angels..."
-
Born in 1955 , Chetboune is a self‑taught French sculptor whose childhood spent in Africa and constant travel shaped his artistic voice—he believes in wandering without maps, learning by unlearning.
-
His sculptures are unique pieces , handcrafted using the lost-wax bronze technique , deliberately bypassing molds to preserve singular artistic integrity.
-
His forms often appear fragmented, torn, yet poignantly human . Chetboune describes these works as "tender and cruel at once," exploring themes of absence and rupture that invite deep emotional resonance.
-
The artist assembles and welds multiple wax fragments into complex compositions where voids and space matter as much as material. These sculptures evoke movement and motion, suggesting trajectories shaped by the observer's imagination.
-
Awards include the Grand Vermeil medal from the city of Paris (2024) , 1st Prize from the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts (2010) , and prizes from the Taylor Foundation and Haras Nationaux.
-
Chetboune's work stands as a visual dialogue with the viewer , grounding introspection, history, fragility, and humanity in sculptural form.

— Gaya Lichtenstein
Gaya, with her Israeli-British roots and Swiss nationality, had lived a life steeped in art — from her childhood surrounded by canvases and sculptures to later, owning her own gallery. Always glowing with creative energy, she moves through life like a living artwork, her daughter (Lee Lichtenstein) extending her footsteps as a graduate artist and they both live in Zurich, Switzerland.
Gaya has her digital hand: Bea. Gaya and Bea met through a shared love for yoga, but their connection quickly unfolded. Bea, came from São Paulo, Brazil and has Portuguese nationality — a blend of rhythm, thought, and digital flair. With degrees in Cultural Studies and Communication, now diving into an BSc in International Business Administration in Bern, she was shaped by the world of technology and storytelling.
While Gaya flowed in color and form, Bea danced between strategy and sensation, always with one foot in culture and the other in innovation. They both love wandering cities, tasting their way through cultures, sharing meals and moments. Now, they've come together in a project that feels like a natural extension of who they are: Gaya as the official representative of Denise Chetboune in Switzerland, Bea as the digital hand — a living collaboration born from movement, passion, and presence.
